INTERIM SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Our housing program provides safe, stable, and supportive living environments for individuals and families in need. Our facilities sites offer structured, community-centered spaces where clients can work toward independence and long-term stability.
CASE MANAGEMENT
Case management provides individualized support to help each client navigate their path out of homelessness and into permanent housing. Case managers work one-on-one with clients to assess their needs, develop personalized goals, connect them to community resources and referrals, and coordinate services such as mental health support and substance abuse counseling. The goal is to empower each individual or family with the tools, skills, and resources they need to achieve long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency.
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Mental health services at Fair Opportunity for Change provide compassionate, individualized support to clients who are navigating the emotional and psychological challenges that often accompany homelessness and housing instability. Our team works alongside licensed mental health professionals to connect residents with assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing therapeutic support. By addressing mental health as a core component of overall well-being, we help clients build the emotional resilience and stability needed to thrive in permanent housing and everyday life.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING
Substance abuse counseling at Fair Opportunity for Change offers a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to address the challenges of addiction and recovery. Through one-on-one counseling, referrals to certified treatment programs, and ongoing support, we walk alongside individuals as they work toward sobriety and healthier lifestyle choices. Our approach is rooted in compassion, dignity, and a genuine belief in every person's ability to heal and move forward.
LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Life skills groups at Fair Opportunity for Change are designed to equip clients with the practical tools and knowledge needed to live independently and successfully. Offered in a group setting, sessions cover a wide range of topics including budgeting and financial literacy, job readiness, healthy communication, cooking and nutrition, time management, and tenant rights. These interactive workshops foster community, accountability, and personal growth, empowering each participant to build confidence and develop the everyday skills that support long-term self-sufficiency and stability.
ACCESS TO PERMANENT HOUSING RESOURCES
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Our outreach program extends our services beyond our walls and into the community. We actively connect with individuals who are experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or other challenges, meeting them where they are. Through partnerships, community engagement, and direct outreach efforts, we identify those in need, provide resources and referrals, and serve as a bridge to housing and supportive services. Our goal is to ensure that no one falls through the cracks.
