Dr. LaNita Hamilton

Lanita Hamilton is the CEO of Ms. Hazel's House, Inc. (est. 2006) and LA Global Care, Inc. (est. 2016). Born in Columbus, Ohio, Lanita moved to Los Angeles in 1960 and has been a dedicated resident ever since. In 1997, she committed her life to the Lord, embracing a path as a devoted Christian Soldier. 

Her passion for Christ and His Kingdom work drives her daily pursuits, inspiring hope and embodying humility through boundless generosity. Currently, Ms. Hamilton oversees fifty-two homeless shelters and four independent living programs, serving diverse populations. Her overarching goal is to bridge the gap from homelessness to self-sufficiency, empowering individuals to reclaim their lives. 

Lanita's extensive education includes a CAADE certification in drug and alcohol addiction studies from Los Angeles City College, a Certified Co-Occurring Specialist credential from the Briening Institute, and an honorary doctorate from Elbon Solutions College of Ministry. She is also a long-standing member of the Sober Living Coalition and previously served as the President of the Free N One, Los Angeles Chapter. 

Her tireless dedication to community work in Long Beach, California, has been widely recognized with numerous achievement awards and commendations, including a Certificate of Appreciation from the Office of Bernard Parks, a Certificate from the City of Angels Council District Eight, a Certificate of Recognition from the County of Los Angeles, a Certificate of Recognition from the Senate, and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives. 

Lanita is a loving mother to three children of her own and five foster children. She has been a dedicated member of Palm Lane, where Superintendent Lawrence Champion Blake serves as her Pastor.
